Task-independent ephys features
Explore electrophysiology measurements summarized at channel, cluster, and voxel scales. These features describe recordings independently of behavioral task events.
International Brain Laboratory
Explore task-independent electrophysiology features, task-event responses, and anatomical gene-expression data across the mouse brain.
The atlas runs in your browser without an account.
One shared viewer
Coronal, sagittal, and horizontal slices follow the same position across datasets.
Explore electrophysiology measurements summarized at channel, cluster, and voxel scales. These features describe recordings independently of behavioral task events.
Explore responses to task events computed from spiking data across brain regions.
Browse AGEA gene-expression volumes from the Allen Institute alongside the anatomical atlas. MERFISH can join this category in the future.
Import a compatible dataset from your device and explore it in the same linked views. Your data stays in your browser.
About the project
The IBL Ephys Atlas brings together task-independent electrophysiology features, Brain-Wide Map task-event responses, and anatomy datasets such as AGEA in one spatial viewer.
Developed by the International Brain Laboratory, with anatomy data from external sources including the Allen Institute.
For dataset sources, release information, and provenance, open Data details in the viewer. Use these records when citing the data.
Open atlasThe anatomical reference comes from the Allen Mouse Brain Common Coordinate Framework (CCFv3), provided by the Allen Institute.
IBL receives support from Simons Foundation International, Simons Foundation, Wellcome, and the National Institutes of Health.
